    We feature a monthly program called Vet Connect with more than a dozen organizations or businesses that attend, providing information on available benefits and services, including VA health care, the Veterans Home at Yountville, legal assistance, Napa Valley College, home health care and more. We even offer free coffee and doughnuts, thanks to the local Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA Post 702).

  1. Preschool Storytime

    Preschool storytime (3 to 5 years old) lasts 20-35 minutes and is enhanced with the use of picture book, puppets, rhymes, songs, and other participatory activities. All storytimes are free and no registration is required.

  4. Bow Wow for Books (Read to Zoey)

    Come join the fun! Elementary school-age readers are invited to read to a certified listening dog. The dogs are great listeners and provide an inviting environment for kids to practice their reading skills. Kids sign up for a 15-minute session when they arrive at the library. They may select a book from our collection or bring one from home.

    interACTIVE: Creating Community through Art Making is a free four part, intergenerational and interactive workshop series where adults will discuss the political moment through the lens of contemporary art and art-making. Participants will engage with the pieces and themes from di Rosa’s upcoming exhibition, Be Not Still: Living in Uncertain Times, which explores surveillance, fundamentalism, American exceptionalism, and citizenship. Each week, the group will discuss one of these four themes then respond by creating their own art work. interACTIVE will culminate with a field trip to di Rosa. Artwork created by participants will be displayed at the Napa County Library. All skill levels! Facilitated by a di Rosa educator; all materials will be provided.
